Privacy policy
What we do with the information you entrust to us, and the rights you have.
Data controller
FDVL Transport, whose details appear in the legal notice, is responsible for the information collected on this website. For any question, write to us at info@fdvl-transport.com.
The information we collect
When you request a quote, we receive what you enter: your name and, where relevant, your organisation, your email and phone number, the collection and delivery addresses with their access conditions, the preferred date, a description of the pieces and their declared value, and the photos, videos and documents you attach. When you write to us or call us, we keep the information needed to follow up on your request.
Why we use it
This information is used only to prepare your quote, to organise and follow up the job and to answer you. The processing is based on the pre-contractual steps taken at your request and, where applicable, on the performance of the contract (article 6.1.b of the GDPR). We never use it for advertising and never pass it on to anyone.
Who has access
Only the FDVL Transport staff in charge of your file have access to it. The website and our quote request tool are hosted by Vercel Inc. in the United States; this transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Vercel adheres. Our email exchanges go through Google Workspace.
How long we keep it
A quote request that does not go ahead is kept for three years from our last exchange, then deleted. When a job takes place, the necessary information is kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It only remembers, in your browser, the language you chose. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which receive your IP address when they do so.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing, object to it or request its portability by writing to info@fdvl-transport.com. If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
