Confidentiality
What we move, for whom and to where is nobody's business but yours. Our teams are bound to the strictest discretion, on every assignment, without exception.
Twenty years carrying what cannot be replaced. An artwork is not moved like a pallet — and that is not something you learn from a manual.
FDVL Transport is a company specialising in the transport of artworks and exceptional pieces. Paintings, sculptures, crystal chandeliers, collectible furniture, exhibition sets: we operate where an ordinary carrier has no business being.
We have chosen to remain a human-scale organisation. No cascading subcontracting, no temps discovering a crate on the morning of the job. The people who pack your artwork are the ones who load it, and the ones who install it.
More than 25,000 specialised interventions later, that continuity remains our only real guarantee. It explains why museums, galleries, auction houses and collectors come back — and why they recommend us without being asked.
We will also, at times, advise against a solution. If a deadline, a budget or a route could compromise a piece, we tell you plainly and work out a safer alternative together. Sparing you the wrong decision is part of our craft.
Owner and Head of Operations
Over twenty years of expertise in fine art transport — and still in the field. Frédéric does not run assignments from an office: he leads them himself, alongside his teams, from dismantling to reassembly.
Well known in the trade, he is called in for the pieces others would rather not touch: century-old crystal chandeliers, monumental sculptures, collectible furniture, exhibition sets on impossible deadlines. That reputation was not built on advertising, but on 25,000 interventions and not one piece sacrificed.
He is also the person who will answer you. When you entrust an artwork to FDVL, you speak to the person who will handle it.
What we move, for whom and to where is nobody's business but yours. Our teams are bound to the strictest discretion, on every assignment, without exception.
Twenty years of skills learned in the field, not from a manual. Crystal, marble, gilding, canvas: every material has its rules, and we know them.
We owe you an honest quote and realistic timelines — and a clear “no” whenever a request would put the piece at risk.
Full references are shared on request, in keeping with each client's confidentiality.
The best way to judge us is to entrust us with a first assignment.
